THE DIFFERENT FACES OF WOMEN IN INDIA: Portraits of Students and Research Scholars in Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi

  The Department of Anthropology celebrated International Women's Day on 8th March 2019 in the Seminar Hall of the department.The department official website published 28 portraits of students and scholars in the department, to highlight the different faces of women in India. A seminar on "The Contemporary Women: Issues and Challenges" was organized on the same day as part of ongoing popular seminar series in the department. The seminar was a very successful one as the scholars and students engaged in contemporary isssues and challenges of women in India. The jury members slected five best speakers. The Head of Department Prof. P.C. Joshi sponsored the prizes.
